RadiRad was founded in New Taipei City, Taiwan, bringing together biomedical engineering research and medical device industry experience to develop AI-powered healthcare technology. From technical exploration to product design, we consider how sensing and analysis can address real needs, translating research into applications for clinical practice.
OUR STORY
Our story
Rooted in clinical needs. Bringing innovation to the world.
Founded in New Taipei City, Taiwan, RadiRad combines biomedical engineering research with medical device industry experience to develop AI for physiological signals and medical imaging. Through research publications, international exhibitions and collaboration, we engage with experts across disciplines to bring R&D closer to practical applications and introduce medical innovation from Taiwan to the world.
We established two core R&D directions: physiological signal analysis with RadiHeart and spine imaging analysis with RadiSpine. Each starts with distinct clinical needs to explore the role of AI in healthcare.
RadiHeart and RadiSpine were exhibited at ECR 2023 in Vienna, presenting our work in physiological signal and spine imaging analysis to an international medical audience. We also participated in BIO Asia-Taiwan and showcased RadiSpine at RSNA 2023 in Chicago. Product demonstrations and conversations with clinicians and industry professionals deepened our understanding of practical needs and broadened our view of medical AI applications.
Research on automated lumbar MRI segmentation and quantitative assessment related to RadiSpine was published in Neurospine, exploring how AI can extract structured information to support lumbar imaging assessment. Our Japanese affiliate participated in ITEM 2024 in Yokohama and showcased RadiHeart at MEDICA 2024 in Düsseldorf. The team also attended Healthcare+ Expo Taiwan, connecting with medical and industry partners across markets through demonstrations and professional exchange.
RadiHeart appeared at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, showcasing physiological measurement and AI analysis to professionals in healthcare, consumer technology and distribution, and exploring needs across different use cases. RadiSpine also participated in the NASS 2025 international meeting in Taipei, while the team shared medical AI applications at AMD Solution Day. At the invitation of a platform affiliated with National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, we provided RadiSpine training for TFDA officials, supporting cross-disciplinary understanding through demonstrations, discussion and education.
RadiSpine, our AI-based quantitative spine MRI analysis system, received Taiwan TFDA Class II medical device clearance, marking an important step in bringing medical AI into practice. RadiRad also joined NVIDIA Inception to expand technical and industry connections, and presented RadiHeart at the Nexus Luxembourg 2026 Pitch Arena, sharing our product vision with healthcare and investment professionals and opening new conversations about collaboration.
